System Overview
The software/system allows money pooled from numerous funds to be invested in the following investment Classes: - Equity Market
- Money market
- Property
- Mortgages and Loans
The system has comprehensive reporting and analytical capabilities and is easily customizable to fit Clients’ exact requirements. |
The following include the system capabilities in each of the above classes as follows:
Equity Market: has interface that allows users to create equity / security,an Interface enabling linkage by the user between the various investment facets e.g. investment cost, dividends, w/tax on dividends, to the various General ledger accounts, an interface for downloading NSE security valuations into the investments module at any time. An interface that enables linkage of the individual funds schemes to the various investments among others. - Money Market: The system allows the user to create a security with the following details:
- Name of Institution being invested in.
- Investment type, whether Private sector deposit, Government security, Bonds or commercial paper.
- Unique investment Code identifying the security.
- Contact Information of the institution being invested in.
The system has a facility for recognition of Term applicable, total outstanding term, outstanding term to year- end, interest rate (Fixed/floating rate), a facility to follow the change of these rates over a series of historic periods is available. The system also has a facility for setting up expected interest dates and an alert for expected interest receipt date to remind user of expected income. The system also has an interface enabling linkage by the user between the various investment facets e.g. investment cost, interest, w/tax on interest, to the various general ledger accounts. The system also has an interface that enables linkage of the individual funds to the various investments among other capabilities.

- Properties subsystem: The system has an interface enabling the user to set up the property details, The system has a facility for recognition of market value, the property and a facility to follow the change of these valuations prices over certain number of historic periods, ability to separate the Land costs/valuation and actual property costs/valuation, among others.
- Mortgage subsystem: The system has an interface enabling the user to set up the basic mortgage details. The system has an interface enabling the user to link the specific general ledger accounts affected to the mortgage subsystem. The system also enables the user to set up mortgage details with ease. The system also allows for set up of differential loan rates and allows the user to raise originating documentation i.e. payment vouchers for mortgage settlements and update receipt information among others.
